you can craft winter seeds with 1 winter berry each, which ends up as a net gain but i never bothered with that strat beyond my first winter

Although reading the match it makes sense not to do that because you lose way more value in burning a sweet gem berry for a seed rather than just buying them from the shop

One of the legendary fish, I can't remember which one, was incredibly difficult for me. I had to use a combination of lures and food and it took a really long time but I finally got it. Most of the other ones were easy enough, but I definitely remember one of them being super difficult.

Almost done with my first spring on the Red Family Farm, Spent like 5k aka all my gold on 40 potato seeds for the final harvest of the season.. I don't remember if the season changes on the 28th or the day after or I would have went with cauliflower for more money but I wanted to play it safe. and brother I'm Salivating thinking about that sweet rear end payday. The game is loving me though because It hasn't rained in like 2 in game weeks and I really want to upgrade my watering can to speed up watering my gigantic potato farm. I also got a silo and most of the resources for a coop. I love the way things start to ramp up once you get out of that early game slump. anyways That's my STardew thread bump

this game was definitely the most fun on my first playthrough, where i was constantly struggling for time, didn't know anything, and just barely got 4 stars.

Does the game actually end? or is there like an ending cutscene and poo poo but then you can just keep farming afterwards if you want to.
|
![]() |
|
It's infinite. There's a fair amount of "cut scenes" and events both for reaching relationship milestones and completing various quests, but there's nothing that really signals the end of the journey and most people just stop playing once they get bored.

You can play forever but people generally think of the evaluation at the end of year 3 to be the "end"

seeing other ppls bad rear end farms makes me really excited to keep playing. also can u move buildings after you’ve built them somehow? i don’t want to end up with my poo poo all over the place because i didn’t plan out everything ahead of time
|
![]() |
|
yeah, it's an option at robin's shop i believe
|
![]() |

It is, and it’s free and instantaneous. IIRC you select the option to construct a new farm building and then it will be one of three or four little icons under the main screen.

drat the standard farm is boring as gently caress but it really opens up the possibilities of stuff you can do with the layout. (Not mine just a random one I pulled from the site)![]() I still think I prefer the other farms aesthetically, but drat if my inner min/max nerd isn't a little jealous.
