The joke still works, because both those were $15 small ship packs.
There was also a $40 Upsilon shuttle eventually but shhhhhh

Could use some advice about my 3 K-Fighter list. I'm doing really well with it, but the local players aren't anything like what I'll face at regionals. With ordinance being so popular I am seeing stealth device as a bit of a waste. Is there anything that you guys would think to maybe tune this up.

Hull upgrade - without a focus on the engage, the stealth device is only worth 3/8th of a hull point.

Have you considered all Deadeye, to laugh at countermeasures?

Hull upgrade is a good idea I'll swap it. I see the benefit of all deadeye, but I have tasted the sweet juice of ps 11 for the first time and it suits me. Running 11-9-4 works well.

Could also drop victor hel for a kitted out Tweek, but against 4 Wookiee that would be a waste.

I'm planning on taking this to a mini-tournament tomrorrow.

“Deathrain” (33)
TIE Punisher (26), Collision Detector (0), Unguided Rockets (2), Bomblet Generator (3), Lightweight Frame (2)

The Inquisitor (31)
TIE Advanced Prototype (25), Push the Limit (3), TIE/v1 (1), Autothrusters (2)

“Quickdraw” (36)
Special Forces TIE (29), Veteran Instincts (1), Fire-Control System (2), Pattern Analyzer (2), Special Ops Training (0), Lightweight Frame (2)

Any obvious holes? I'm not sure what the best way to approach flying this is going to be. I had planned on just shoving Deathrain at things and sniping with the other two.

Maybe drop PA on Quickdraw for Extra Munitions on Deathrain? Are you cautious that Deathrain will only get one shot with his rockes/bomblets?

I usually run Vader instead of Quickdraw, but QD is fine.

Bring debris, not rocks. With collision detector, Deathrain can get all sorts of weird/unexpected places.
-Reveal (preferably green) maneuver.
-Drop bomb
-Barrel Roll onto debris, preferably in such a way your template won't cross it again for the maneuver
-Debris gives you stress, roll for crit (doesn't matter tho)
-Complete (green) maneuver
-Clear stress if green, take focus, be on other side of rock where you shouldn't be.

My general strategy looks like this:
Setup Deathrain in the middle of the board, and use her to clog up any lanes while sniping with unguided rockets. If they come into the rocks, you probably win, because DR is crazy maneuverable and strong when you can't escape the bombs.
(If possible), set up QD and Inquisitor in the opposite corner of the enemy. Make them come through the rocks (and Deathrain) to get you.
Flank/snipe with Inquistior.
Get into the mix with Vader, which should work just as well with Quickdraw.

I’ve always run Omega Ace with PtL, but has anyone ever tried him with Swarm Leader and some minions carrying around evade tokens on their Comm Relays? I feel like you’d need the perfect setup, but at the same time dropping up to 5 crits in someone’s face seems like overkill (the best kind of kill).

The new system which lets him save a focus will actually make this pretty easy to pull off. Would be funny pretty funny to see.

FCS. Advanced sensors seem great but without an EPT Thweek really can't mod his attacks, and without solid damage output all his repositioning means jack.
