The drat thing comes with a one-month Game Pass sub, so I'd say a new user gets plenty of crap to try as it is, including GoW4 I think. Though I'm not sure if they actually advertise the fact on the box.

Funny thing about that is they had to make the game free on the XBLA market so that people could play it when Xbone backwards compat first opened up - because like 99% of the people that wanted to play it were using their free license from a hard drive, instead of having actually purchased it the proper way.

The XB1X isn't really a viable console if you have bandwidth caps, many games have 30+ gig patches from disc with some going up to 60, and then the XB1X 4K assets can add over 90 gigs on top of that. Also while Nintendo dabbled a bit with pre-installed games on 3DS, that hasn't been a thing on Playstation or Xboxes in like two generations, if you buy a console with a non-disc version of a game it's just a code and you still have to do the full download.

XBonx report: Holy hell 95 gig Forza install took all afternoon but this game is a lot of fun. The 4k looks good and the 60 fps makes you feel like you are going fast. The last Forza game I played was Forza 2 so it doesn't feel samey at all. The XBonx UI is snappy and I love not lagging like crazy every time I want to switch to a new menu. It's going to take some getting used to since I have only ever used the PS3/4 stuff but I think pinning apps and games will make finding what I want easier. We I am surprised at how much I like this controller too. The thumbsticks feel grippier and easier to use than the PS4 ones (which is a great controller as well). I need to learn not to death grip this motherfucker while pretending I am a racecar driver and I things will be even better.

Yeah the xbone controller is really solid. I actually hate the 360 controller now the Xbone one exists. Especially when you can play most good 360 games with better performance on the new system.

The new rear end creed is very good. I thought the game was beautiful, then I got to the battleship mission. Holy poo poo. I’ve sunk way more hours into this one and I’m only like 50% done? It’s really easy to play and the fighting/bow killing is solid. You’re basically Punisher in Egypt.

The ship missions were the nadir of Origins for me, the combat somehow manages to be even stiffer than the in game melee. The story is also kinda weak, there's barely any development until poo poo hits the fan and then it's getting fast tracked. Edit: it was alright, I had worse 1k cheevos

Hello Xbox thread. Went to GameStop to buy a xbonx and ended up buying 6 snes minis as well. All 5 I wanted to sell sold within two hours for 160 a piece. That and selling my one s made for a almost free xbonx.
