Run defense is a real strength and I would be willing to say we have a top 5 linebacker corps who are insane at edge to edge running, pass rush is generally solid, but pass defense can be questionable at times.

We can pass when we need to but because we have been able to run on literally everyone (except Auburn round 1) at will, and not to mention that every single one of our running backs would be starters in any team in the country, most of the games we have played have less than 20 passes total. Fromm can extend drives with his arm when called upon, and he has hit some beautiful mid-deep balls when the receivers don't drop them.

Fromm is good enough to punish a stacked box, I don't think he is gonna stand back there and carve up OU's bad secondary all game though.

Probably not, but worst worst case he can run a bit; not like Mayfield or anything. I think UGA is good enough to win, but also I am conditioned to expect that we are going to get blown out because it is a big game.

Apropos, I went to the Penn State @ Maryland game two weeks ago, and Maryland's athletic department is so poor they have special dispensation to sell beer in the stadium (something I had though was prohibited uniformly in all NCAA games, but I guess not). The stadium as a whole was at least 50-50 Penn State Maryland, and by the late 3rd quarter, with Penn State up 40 points, the last remaining Maryland fans near us were getting more and more obnoxious. They were still drinking beer, and probably had been for like 6+ hours.

At one point, all the backups were in and the Maryland fans were shouting "KILL MCSORLEY" when the QB got tackled. My dad felt compelled to argue with them that Tommy Stevens was in, not Trace McSorley, and I was just thinking to myself "shut the gently caress up, dad, these people are drunk."

This has been the case for a lot of smaller programs for years now. BG's had beer sales for at least 4-5 years.

It isn't banned by the NCAA at all. It is generally a conference or school decision. It's been becoming more common the past few years. I know WVU sells beer I their stadium now.

It tends to be more common at the off campus stadiums, especially the ones that are shared with a NFL team (miss you, metrodome). I think the revenue potential there is such that it’s probaby going to be really widespread soon. Iowa has talked about doing it off and on for like a decade now.

Iowa State and Memphis are going to be extremely high on the list of schools with a high percentage of players who will be stoked about a bass pro shop shopping spree, I think you’re underrating that one
