Technically a neutral site game (it was at the Sprint Center in KC). But obviously really a home game since Lawrence is 25 or 30 miles away and Seattle's close to 2000.

Two games in a row they've lost there now (lost to Oregon in the elite eight there)

Teddy Roosevelt was racist against African Americans, racist against Indians and racist against Asians. He was no friend of labor, either. I think his reputation's been propped up by the Internet adopting him as a symbol of manliness, but he'll probably go the way of Woodrow Wilson soon.

My girlfriend is super sick so I brought her some pho. Then it turns out her Christmas tree wasn't taking in water because the bottom wasn't trimmed when we bought it. Of course she doesn't have anything close to resembling a hand saw in her condo, so I just spent the last 15 minutes using two steak knifes to cut it.

I feel dumb but partially accomplished.

Realpost: One was a bigger knife with a smaller part that was serrated, whereas the other was smaller but with the entire blade serrated. So I'd use the small one to make an initial cut then switch to the bigger one.

There's a Lowe's not too far away around here. We both live in tiny apartments and I have no idea what use I would have had for one after cutting the tree. I try not to buy a lot of stuff because then I have to put it somewhere. It's like anti-hoarding.

Some people hate shopping and he said it took 15 minutes using steak knives, so I'm guessing it was a skinny tree.

Also some people don't like buying tools for one specific thing if they know they'll never use them again
