I’d be surprised, to be honest - the writing will probably be the same level of poo poo, but that’s a team who know their way around making a pretty, stylish movie, so I doubt we’ll be in a GITS situation where the coolest-looking bits were directly taken from other media in the franchise. At the very least, I’d bet on getting an impressive new visual interpretation of BAA.
