Ah Cheers Safety Dance. Your injured hand is better than my normal hand so don't worry! I declared I want to use the gloves as driving gloves some sort of soft top classic car (think MBG) whilst tooling around in the lakes which were met by no protests by the other half who has claimed the muffler. My sister swears by Muji pens so it'll be fun to wind her up. I'll be wearing the top tomorrow

I got santa'd! Pictures incoming shortly, but got some hilariously awesome poo poo  As to my package - due to work shenanigans it didn't get shipped today. So I'm throwing some extra poo poo in this weekend and I'll get it to the post office Monday.

fake edit: I originally had a much better post done up for this but Awful App ate it after 30 minutes of trying to get it to post, and I'm too tired to try and recapture the tone. With that being said: Earlier today I got a PM from Elmnt80/Cop Porn Popper informing me that a package would be waiting for me when I got home. Nondescript box  Inside was a +2 Bag of Holding  Filled with performance enhancing parts! Let's see here. Per the PM I've got a multitude of stickers good for at least another hunnert horses power (that seafoam one is especially rad), a sweet calendar, magnetic tray, beer coozies, a pair of Vampliers which look awesome, a box, and the mandatory dong silhouette. gently caress yeah!  WHAT'S IN THE BOX?!  It's an LED headlamp! This is great because my headlamp broke last year and I haven't mustered the fucks to replace it yet. No more biting on my streamlight.  Thanks so much Elmnt80!

If your santee is like me, they already have a ton of poo poo coming in anyway, and may not notice. Or at least may pretend not to notice.  When I signed up for it, I kept failing the online identity verification, so I had to go do it in person. I'm assuming it's because I have an identity theft reported. "Uhhh.. we don't do that here. What did you say you need to verify your ID for? Informed what?" Apparently it's a seldom enough occurrence that they'd only had 1 person, ever, show up at my local post office for that. They had to get managers involved to figure out how to do it. Thankfully instructions on how to do it were in the email they'd sent me.

Last part arrived today. I had to go into town to ship it because my local post office closed at noon, but it's shipped and the tracking number has been emailed. Dropped mine off today (instead of last night). Looks like I made it just in time for it to go out today; tracking shows it was scanned a few minutes after I dropped it, and left that PO an hour later. So <redacted>, you'll have your box of poo poo on Tuesday, hopefully.

It's pretty easy to make a good shipping crate out of 3/4 ply and decking screws. Hell, I think the crate I sent an aiss gift in last year ended up being more of a hit than the contents

Whoever had me, uh, apparently I'll get it today "before 8pm" (which may be bullshit, my mail shows up anywhere from 5-10pm - either way, I won't be home until midnight anyway). USPS Informed Delivery kinda tattled on you.  (I just know the origin city at the moment) (yes I am a killjoy, sorry.)

Dog's barked like someone was at the door so I went downstairs and it looked as if the maillady had stopped by. Small package in my mailbox, thought for a moment "gently caress yeah, my Santee's gift has arrived!" but was wrong. Turns out this one was from Santa:   Fuckin' sweet, thanks Santa!

What the gently caress happened with Amazon this year? They have been really loving late with a lot of their poo poo it seems. Mine was late because the local carrier couldn't handle it (because intelcom is hot garbage) but it can't be like that everywhere, can it?

The local couriers are 100% overwhelmed. We were told by our local Purolator guy that they are one week behind in even sorting packages at their in town warehouse. There's a full week backlog of cages full of parcels that have arrived but haven't been processed yet. I am deeply sorry to my Santee if their gift doesn't arrive on time, knowing how bad the situation is.
