Game: [MHR] The Great Plains Avengers are recruiting!
System: MHR
Format: PbP
Players: 5-6 ONE
Description: Most of the superpowered action goes on in the northeast, where the greatest heroes and villains clash in titanic struggles that at times will determine the fate of reality itself. Unfortunately, you're in the midwest, and most struggles couldn't be defined as 'titanic' and typically determine the outcome of the state fair.

Be the thin caped line defending the little Kansas city you call your homebase and its population of 50,000. Fight supervillains that aren't exactly inspired but likely just as deadly as the big guys fight in the big cities.

One of my players got toxxed immediately after the game began and has not re-reg'd. So, we have an open spot! Right now the team is fighting a guy in a Wal-Mart pirate costume who can shoot laser blasts from his mouth outside of a CA$H 4 GOLD shop in Kansas, so we're still in the first scene!

Game: Tyranny of Dragons
System: 5e
Format: Roll20
Players: 5-7
Description: We currently have 4 people for this, but 2 of the 4 are a little flaky so we want to round it out to 6 or 7 to ensure we have a few people every week. We're looking to have play sessions on Friday or Saturday nights, every other week; every week if everyone is free but we're pretty casual about it cause we all have jobs and lives and adult commitments. We just wrapped up a game of Yawning Portal and we're a couple weeks away from finishing a game of Storm King's Thunder, and we are about to start HotDQ.

The concept is, all characters are neutral or evil, and are either former members of the dragon cult or they are in town looking to cash in a bounty on a guy. Our playstyle is a lot of in-character bantering and bickering and trying to make the other players laugh, so no super duper serious "my lady, I serve thee loyally, oh indeed" role-playing. I am hoping there's some entertaining friction over everyone wanting to get the bounty on the same guy.

Game: #Resist
Game system: Hacked Marvel Heroic Roleplaying
Format: Forums PbP with Orokos
Players: 3-6
Description: Warning: Spoilers for the Last Jedi

It's time for this war to end.

After the devastating surprise attack on the New Republic, there isn't much left of any galactic government in the galaxy. The New Republic was so afraid of appearing like the Empire that they never had a strong military, a national identity, or the ability to enforce their laws far from the Senate. With the fleet gone and the home sector gone, there isn't any of the New Republic left. But, the First Order isn't much better. While some worlds aligned themselves to the First Order, the First Order lost their superweapon, their flagship, and their leader. They have a powerful navy, easily dwarfing the Resistance forces which soldiers number only in the thousands with no naval forces to speak of, but its a serious question whether the First Order can conqueror and expand easily with their diminished forces. Planets grew their own standing armies and navies due to the Republic's weakness. The First Order cannot simply enter their airspace and claim the land, there will be a fight and such battles can be costly.

All of this before one consider's Kylo's inability to lead as Supreme Leader.

The galaxy is in a unique state of utter lawlessness. Each planet is governed by its own government. In many ways, this is a continuation of the New Republic's lax hand, but the chaos is much more noticeable when even the most basic rules, treaties, and shared currencies aren't respected. The galaxy has not been this disconnected since before the invention of the hyperdrive and founding of the Old Republic. The First Order, outside its sector of space, must take its time to rebuild its force and conqueror more. However, the brash Kylo wastes resources chasing the near non-existence Resistance and allows non-aligned worlds to stock up for self-defense due to this obsession.

The Resistance, few in numbers, seeks to gain favors through propaganda, recruitment, guerrilla attacks on First Order worlds and any other method that can establish a single, important message: a propaganda message of "The First Order will bring chaos, only the Resistance can bring back order." It's a trying time for the Resistance. The Resistance has lost all its naval forces and is down to only a couple thousand soldiers. If it can't sway wealthy investors, military arms dealers, and young, healthy individuals willing to fight for democracy, it will die.

There is little telling what the future brings.

Perhaps the First Order wins and the galaxy is crushed by fascism. Perhaps the Resistance wins and the corrupt, ineffective bureaucracy of the New Republic returns.

Or, perhaps, something new, something proper can be born. Something to break the cycle and finally let old things die.

System: Blades in the Dark - Scum and Villainy
Format: Roll20 + Discord for voice

The Corporate Sector is a place of artificial beauty, mystery, intrigue and vast vaults of credits. Megacorporations use it as a playground, and the galaxy's rich, powerful and influential flock here to stay above the conflict between the First Order and the Resistance. Far from that interminable struggle, the elites profit from the conflict and scheme to grow their fortunes ever larger. Amid these titans of industry there are people, thieves, smugglers, con artists and freedom fighters, who find ways to steal from the rich and make a life for themselves. You are one of those people, flying with barely a credit to your name in a fixer-upper ship trying to make a go of living outside the law in the Corporate Sector. There's a lot of money to be made here, if you can stay alive and remain stable.

Game: Above/Below
https://i.imgur.com/JFy9mlD.mp4

System: Homebrew
Format: CYOA / Godgame Hybrid
Players: Five gods but other people can also affect the outcomes.

Description:
Above is everything. An opaque infinity stretching from direction to direction. If one looks carefully things that could be can be seen in it's surface. Essences and Ideas surfacing momentarily before sinking back in. Or breaking off and falling forever. For Below is nothing. And only things in nothing are spirits. Great in power yet with nothing to grasp they can only flail impotently. Many fight over the tiny pieces of the Above that have fallen off, not because the bits of matter are useful but because they are the only things there are. The only things to affect. The only points of reference.
But now something unusual is happening. The Above boils and expels a massive piece of itself. A number of lucky spirits witness the birth of a land. Enormous! Enough matter to make anything out of. Enough matter to BE on. It hangs precariously close to the burning infinity of the Above. To go so high would be to face death. But up there, they could be gods.

Above/Below is a godgame borrowing heavily from Dog Kisser's Fragile Gods of Somewhere. Its a fairly casual game with illustrations, come pop in if you like those!
