It's still possible because of the dumb way Alabama reports vote totals so that we have no way of knowing which precincts are still outstanding..

But yeah... this is going better than I thought it would.

That seems a little overzealous to me � but you can understand the thinking behind it. The election is basically tied now (depending on whose vote count you look at) and most of the outstanding votes are in blue-leaning counties. So Moore has to hope that the precincts yet to report in those blue-leaning counties are red-leaning precincts. It�s not totally unbelievable, because Alabama�s demographics can vary so much from town to town and neighborhood to neighborhood. But it�s not the hand you�d want to play at this point in the evening.
