Hello thread, I'm a 31-year-old dude somehow just now discovering that pop music is, in fact, good, and thanks to this thread I spent the drive to work listening to Emotion and trying to contain the  long enough to make it to work (and listen to it all day here, too).Anyway just wanted to say thanks, now to go listen to other awesome albums from years ago that I missed

T-swift's output has always been really uneven, imo. Even within one album, she's really inconsistent. The abomination of this. sick. beat. was somehow on the same album as Style, after all. In general she's worse the more she unironically leans into the catty rich white girl schtick, and she's been doing that more and more over time, so...

Not a big fan of Taylor Swift but Style is a genuinely good song because it shows a mature and vulnerable side to her songwriting that I wish she continued to develop instead of this TMZ poo poo.

Yeah, Style is a really good song. The first time I heard it a couple years ago I couldn't believe it was Taylor Swift. But I don't really dig anything else she's done, especially not the singles from Reputation. I'm a sucker for a well-used synth, I guess.

Don’t Blame Me is like Taylor’s version of one of the more gospely Gaga songs and I like it a lot Honestly it’s a good album, grew on me a lot. Look What You Made Me Do is by far the worst track. Getaway Car, Call It What You Want, Delicate, New Year’s Day, and Dancing With Our Hands Tied are all cool songs too. And even some of the more goffik princess ones like I Did Something Bad are growing on me.
