I absolutely remember those...from the "it's ok to insult Moore" period. He went to "conspicuous silence" while still railing on about Franken repeatedly when the Repubs started backing Moore again. Payne doesn't get credit for following Old School GOP party lines like a coward, he especially doesn't get credit for cowardly kicking someone when he knows they failed.

If you saw Forrest Gump, all of his accomplishments were stolen from black people: - the dance he taught Elvis was originally created by black performance artists - the initial scene he tells a black woman he was named after a klansmen, and she expects him to be OK with it - the person who initially reported Watergate was a black security guard - he was a loving white running back for Alabama Unrelated by Zemeckis made the actor who played Bubba wear a prosthetic lip enhancement. Forrest also beats the poo poo out a Black Panther, too. In short, Marlette could have picked anyone better to bridge the gap between whites and blacks, but alas...

Electric Phantasm posted:Is there anything actually connecting the FBI to Hillary? Or are they jumping to conclusions based on the FBI saying mean things about Trump? Well, see, the previous FBI director had to meddle in the election against Hillary so that when his predecessor was appointed as special counsel to investigate Trump in the aftermath, the FBI wouldn't be seen as obviously being behind Vince Foster, Benghazi, and the Moon Landing all along, furthermore

One thing lost in the obvious "He fired someone for bias so that means he's bias???" answers is that bias doesn't change fact. The political affiliation of the Watergate security guard that discovered the break in doesn't change the facts of the break in. So, basically, all of these people are saying "Well OF COURSE they are going to find something incriminating: the people looking for something incriminating hate the person they're investigating" which...I mean...wut?

So, basically, all of these people are saying "Well OF COURSE they are going to find something incriminating: the people looking for something incriminating hate the person they're investigating" which...I mean...wut? They do not understand how reality works. They operate on the principle of magical thought: it's the act of investigating that will generate crimes that didn't exist before the investigation; provided that the investigator hates the investigated person enough. Imagine bad roleplayers around a table. The player who keeps rolling Search checks because he's sure he'll get a natural 20 eventually and then the DM will have to let him find a secret passage even though there isn't one in the room? That's the conservative. They figure God is their DM and is willing to rewrite the adventure if they insist enough. That's why they kept investigating Hillary Clinton for the emailghazi and benghazigate. They figured that eventually they'd find a true Republican investigator, not a RINO traitor, and they'd finally get to Lock Her Up™. Likewise, Mueller and the rest of the FBI can only be Deep State Dems because otherwise they wouldn't even try to generate a Trump crime through their investigation.
