you can lead a crabhorse to water, but you can't make it force water through its gills.

I have ten of the little shell buddies running around in there, I had more but sadly all my Strawberry crabs have either molted poorly or been eaten by other, ruder, hermit crabs. But to be fair, crabs are jerks who love to eat their friends. It really is crazy how much they use the hamster wheels, I know in the wild they'll walk miles in a night but I never expected their dedication to cardio. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgxZeIVkKZg I also had a halloween crab for the longest time, she was really fun to watch. Crustaceans are really such beautiful creatures.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtQG8Ukvxg4 I can't stand watching cat's get hurt, but this video kinda makes me wish one of them got pinched on the paws just as a lesson learned. The crab would eventually let go, but the cat would never forget!

Mother nature and all, but I legit feel really loving bad for that crab. I mean, what else, could it have done to survive? What a raw deal!

Start with a skin tag and just train your body up into it. You'll quickly adapt.

If you've never had them they're delicious, but they're really cool because when you harvest them you just take one claw, and put the crab back in his little hole and leave him alone for 8 months and let him regrow it. Some people take both claws but that's mean cause the crabs need at least one for fighting and eating and stuff.

Go figure, there are assholes who don't give a poo poo and take both claws before throwing them back. You mind as well keep the whole crab at that point because you basically just sentenced it to death.

If I was a crab I’d eat my own arm before some rear end in a top hat human could steal it.

You mind as well keep the whole crab at that point because you basically just sentenced it to death. Yeah it's not great. They don't always die if you take both claws, but it's a lot harder for them to eat poo poo and defend themselves. Of course a lot of these guys leave cinderblocks and stuff out there to make crab houses so they know they've got a reliable spot to go get them every time they go out, so it's a give and take. GRINDCORE MEGGIDO posted:Holy crap that owns. The only sporting way to get stone crab claws in my opinion is in lovely cold water with little to no visibility, while holding your breath. It makes digging them out of their stupid little holes a battle.

This is what I like about catching crabs with a trot line. They're not hooked on the line, just grabbing on to it munching on a chicken neck as they get closer to the surface, and so you have to scoop them up with a net before they see you and swim away.
