Wasn't as fond of this episode. There was a point where Felix was about to compare internet service between the US vs other countries, namely Spain, and he got immediately interrupted with Matt going on how this is all gaming related for a somewhat weak joke, and again when he talks about internet usage and him saying "I played Operation Flashpoint with my friends" is treated as this odd injoke when... it was rather normal for kids of his age to do this? They kind of overdid the "Lol Felix is too much of a gaming dork" shtick on this ep.

It was a popular game over here and with the US folk i used to talk with back in the 2000's like some sort of proto, proto arma game. Was it a weird game over there?

I played it, but I don't know anyone else who did. At the time everyone I knew was playing Counter-Strike or Half-Life, if they were playing FPSes.

The Chapo self-owns are so much more brutal than anything anyone else comes up with. It's really incredible how untouchable they are, can't call their boss, can't dunk on them any harder than they do themselves.

I’m sure Felix watched “8 Mile” a bunch to be able to dunk on himself so well.

Also, this week was the first time I saw Will and Amber’s pictures. It’s nice to put a face to the voice.

No joke, I laughed harder than I have in a while hearing Felix launch into a summary of MGSV, then listening to Matt and Will rapidly lose their patience and cut off his mic, only for Felix to continue on, still slightly audible over everyone else’s mic.

The front page of this dying internet forum is probably where Felix got the idea, especially the Weekend Web.

If you have some bizarre personal opinion or interest, seeking out kindred spirits in person is difficult and risky due to rejection. However, if you seek others online, you can easily find other people with minimal risk. In addition to this, having a group of like-minded people online maintains, justified, and reinforces those beliefs. If your beliefs are especially odious, then that alienates you from mainstream society.

Then, forums once forums are replaced with social media, you end up with everyone in the same environment, clashing with one another, but in separate spheres or subreddits.
