My portfolio is quite diverse. I have significant amounts in all major casino class investments: roulette, craps, poker, slots, etc. I do leave a little for play and put 5% of my portfolio in lotteries.

Most #BossBabes don't even keep track of expenses/earnings, let alone realize they've been had, so good on her. LuLaRoe is notorious for putting out lots of "limited edition" prints and encouraging members to buy as much as possible so they can meet the expected demand. Which turns out to be nonexistent because again, nobody is buying their ugly rear end poo poo*. They also have the highest onboarding cost of any MLM, $5,500. *proof of ugly rear end shitness: bonus:

There's a neat podcast called Side Hustle School where the guy goes over a bunch of reader submitted (and verified) side hustle ideas that they did to make money. Some of the hustles have had goon threads in the past, like SEO/blogs for bucks, dropshipping, writing ebooks, and online voiceover work. The point is that it's fun enough or profitable enough to be worth it as a second income stream. There were some really neat ones in there, like a construction worker who is also an aquarium enthusiast. He put up a blog over a weekend reviewing a bunch of fishtanks from Amazon giving suggestions for aspiring fish hobbyists, and it pulls in $3k/month in amazon affiliate link traffic. Pretty neat stuff.

This whole page has been glorious, so let's keep the pain train rolling with the $1 billion lawsuit threatening the existence of LuLaRoe even as other MLM scams like Rodan and Fields try to capture the same lightning in the bottle that the California-based company has used to grow. http://fortune.com/2017/11/01/lularoe-lawsuit/

Apparently doing very specific online reviews can be crazy profitable. Listened to something on NPR maybe a month ago about mattress review websites. They were getting like a couple hundred dollars for each mattress sale from the affiliate links. It ended up being a job that paid these few guys like $100-$200k a year, just for reviewing various mattresses. Edit: Actual BWM, I was visiting Anchorage and went to a weekend market. Lots of vendors, local crafts, food vendors, etc. The BWM part was seeing two different LuLaRoe vendors set up like four tents away from each other. Those side-hustle gigs are essentially just advertising and the moment you are less than 100% glowing about certain products Casper they strangle you in your deeply discounted bed and find someone else.

Speaking of mattresses can we have a quick mattress derail because I need a new one. Obviously anything more luxurious than a burlap sack of moldy straw is bwm, but I was looking at a Tuft and Needle via Amazon and that seems fine and reasonably priced, I really don't know. Just gonna sleep on the couch like Mulder.

One site started publishing all these articles about Purple's latex coming covered in a white powder and how nobody could really be sure it wasn't carcinogenic, and then it turned out the guy was working for a rival company and poo poo. Blew. Up. I think the lawsuit's still ongoing.
