To "main" something is to specialize in playing them in a video game. I.e. That dude mains Ken in Street Fighter 2. D.Va is a character in Overwatch.

Winston main is superior.

Felix in a way is the foreign correspondent of Chapo, and his tune changes severely on subjects like this. And the weird MGS jokes kind of make sense if you listen to the No-Cartidge episode he did (And to some extent, also the episode where a Saudi animator pops by to reply to Matt's episode as well).

Yeah, unironically, the Metal Gear Solid series is some of the most important political art of our age. Referencing it a lot in a political podcast is totally reasonable

I know that you can edit NBA and Madden, so I assume you can with all of the EA ones? If you aren't familiar with Jon Bois, he did Breaking Madden and a similar series for basketball where he edited all new prospects to be minimum in everything and ran the game for 20 years. He's also the author of The Tim Tebow CFL chronocles which is one of the best pieces of novella-length fiction to be published on a sports website.

Idk. The themes and subjects of PMCs, arms proliferation, sovereignty, and imperialist actions are pretty relevant. And I’ve only played MGS1! I think they get into control of information and whatnot in the later entries.

BEEFTANK is five-foot-three in this game. (He's actually an even five feet, but NBA 2K14 can't make a guy that short. Let's just say he was watered and given plenty of sunlight.) In spite of being bent backward at a slight angle, he meets the rim at eye level. He can travel to a place where water boils noticeably more quickly just by jumping.

I thought

quote:

If you watched the first video near the start of this post, you probably got the impression that Kobe and Kobe worked as some sort of an unstoppable dual threat. Well, I made that video while actually playing as the Lakers. When I left the Kobes up to their own devices, they refused to pass to one another. They were the only two viable scoring options on the team, and yet throughout the entire game, they passed to each other exactly three times.

It felt so true to life. I can't think of any player who would annoy Veteran Kobe more than Young Kobe, an energetic, prolific scorer who lacks a mastery of the finer points.

The Kobe-Kobe feud was wrecking this team. Look, y'all. He won't even give him dap.
was really inspired.

And you are correct, at least on bringing up as this wacky caricature on the more political episodes. Hideo Kojima's plots aren't exactly the most innovative ones , but for a kid in the late 1990's something like that showing up it's probably rather formative. (hence why i brought up the saudi animator ep from no-cartidge, he goes on how in S. ARABIA a good part of those narratives on mgs were the only form of that stuff that young KSA inhabitants had access to)
