So what you need to do about the mouse situation is: 1. grab a cup 2. chase the mouse into your bathroom 3. shut yourself in the bathroom with the mouse 4. while kneeling down to place mouse in cup allow mouse to run into your pant leg. 5. kind of freakout/have a giggle fit because his little paws are so ticklish 6. kick your leg out towards the tub jettisoning the mouse into said tub 7. scoop up mouse into aforementioned cup 8. drive mouse to the park about 2 miles away 9. repeat as required I have first hand experience and a 100% success rate with this method. (only once attempted)

If that's the case, enjoy some time off and with your family before going onto bigger and better things. fwiw I always wish for my work to be like "Hey thanks for the work you've done and for the two weeks notice, but we have decided to make today your last day and pay you for your two weeks". It never happens, but I can hope!

We once had a straight up infestation in our house one year. The more mice we caught the further our sympathy went. It started with humane traps and releasing them far away Then we got glue traps and euthanized them in a freezer Eventually it got to point we were just tossing them into the crick

I had mice a few years ago. I laid out traps with some cheese and four traps later, I had no more. Also I watched all of sons of anarchy while doing cardio and boy does that show go deep off the rails. A couple of seasons in you realize the actual villain of the show is the club itself and then by the last season they're just all outright best pals with neo-nazis.
