Texas Tech receiver Keke Coutee declared for the draft. Best player on the offense this year. Means that only one of Tech's top 6 receivers is returning. Will be interesting to see what the receiving corps does to replace him. We've got a number of players waiting in the wings.

I think it's worth dwelling on the Army-SDSU Armed Forces Bowl Army had 31 first downs, ran the ball 87 times, had the ball for 46 minutes, and nearly lost, anyway. This is because Rashaad Penny is a goddamn machine and had 221 yards with 4 TDs on 14 carries. The game had 31 total passing yards, and Army contributed 6 of those. Downright erotic.
