I have no idea if this is true or not, but I feel like waiting on the alien control system is the better option than dumping a bunch of money into obsolete craft. If that finishes and we don't gain access to anything new, well, then I guess shame on me. I vote to make nnotime lead the raid against Diablo to prove his loyalties.

1c (also hoping the Diablo and Osiron lines on the chart are laggy, and we don't want the cops subverted) and 4. It's gonna probably end up in some really sucky short-term interception blues but I think we really need to focus on tech to make our interceptor fleet better. The alien ships are already more or less shrugging off what we're throwing at them. If it turns out that infiltration in Diablo and Osiron continues to rise I think we'll need to help Diablo before investigating Osiron.

interesting "fact:" in a lot of games Osiron is one of the most powerful orgs (except the gov). They're allowed to do business inside the city and usually have a couple buildings within the walls because they keep the crime part of the syndicate secret. In this game tho, they're practically bankrupt because their buildings got blown up multiple times by the aliens. So I guess they're the more mob-like gang. Diablo also got repeatedly blown up and lost a lot of vehicles to direct alien attack, that's mostly why they became our ally. Psyke happens to both be our enemies and the wealthiest and best off gang in the city for this playthrough. I think Osiron is kept neutral partly because we regularly attack Psyke, even though we're allies with Diablo and the cops. Diablo also is ok with us being cop-friendly because they signed a treaty early on to stop the raids and counterraids from the law.

Is it possible to kite alien ships and try to make them destroy buildings? I now want to try and tip Osiron into allying with us or for the comedy option get the aliens to destroy cult buildings.

the bots load up into their slummy but actually p nice car ikanreed. They meet up with some organics at the police station. There's aliens. Investigation -- Law Control Station: S1: The Cubelodyte, mind the walrus, nnnotime, Markoff Chaney S2: Fart Puzzle, Fenrir, Penguin Salsa, Alan Smithee https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVVinV3J_uc  Least it's not heavily vertical. S1 proceeds thru the locker room and showers to some kinda hearing room? There's an obvious interrogation chamber that S2 passes. Salsa immediately picks up some signals not that far. We head towards them.  Fart Puzzle stumbles into it. I have S1 double check, there's actually a couple.  The wall blocks the shot but Cube kills whatever the smaller one was. Probably a brainsucker. Markoff lands a couple hits on the worm but also blows a hole in the wall like a fuckin psycho Looks like I forgot to bring stun guns or anybody with HE, so if these loving things break open it'll be ugly. This time we'll do a real time mission. I never did this before so I dunno how it'll turn out. So this time I try to set it up in a way where even if there's some helpless nerds they'll have somebody nearby that can fire a gun. Kind of a waste, all the science guys are on the "safe" side of the base, in the biolab, hanging out near the medical bay for some reason, trying to sleep. I order them to book it towards the exit.  I have no loving idea how this works. Doing a real time mission when we could get mega hosed up was a bad idea maybe. even though I had it running in slow motion for like 30 seconds it seems like it just ran through a few turns https://i.imgur.com/Kg13hFA.gifv The clips are prob gonna be pretty disjointed. I decided to make the wounded agents who are near the lift bail out, because if they get hit with a stray grenade they could just die. Man that security station is pretty cool. Basically all that happened was screams and gunfire and then eventually it stopped, but the mission didn't end. I had the critically injured throw themselves on the ground and heal, and it was cool because it happened in real time where the healing kicked in over a few seconds. When the screen fcuked up basically everyone was pretty wounded, way way more than a regular mission. I had to close it an reload after the cop mission. hosed up.

my verdict is that realtime is cool but it's really difficult to keep track of what's going on and trying to tape it at the same time is almost impossible. I'm pretty pissed this hosed up and I wasn't able to actually finish the mission. Who What Now was flying around shooting dudes it was cool as gently caress e: if we had security stations built out correctly these would change from semidifficult to free guns and ammo.
