This thread is hot and cold: sometimes you get SMG, the Michael Jordan of posting, and sometimes you get weird digressions about how Rose is a fat cosplayer despite not being fat or a cosplayer (though I guess you could call dressing up as a First Order officer cosplaying, but if you do that Luke, Han, and Leia are all guilty) or pulling a paper bag test on Oscar Isaac. Conversations about how hot Holdo is are in the middle because I'd be lying if I said Laura Dern wasn't dreamy.

Picked up the Art of Last Jedi book, was quite interesting how much work they put in before TFA even finished filming. Also fairly obvious what some of the deleted scenes will be on the DVD/BR, since it shows art for several scenes which they comment on as if they're in the film. Was also surprising how Lucas participated in some of the initial Jedi temple design work for Luke's seclusion. I guess that was part of his script outline process he did. From what I gather, it sounds like he also had Luke going into hiding after his students were wiped out. JJ and Rian just expanded on who actually did it and why. Also Neal Scanlan needs to get off his Abednedo kick. Seriously, I was wondering why they keep showing up and there's a quote in there and the man seems obsessed with them. His creature direction is actually one of the unfortunate "I want new stuff... where's the old stuff?" problems I have with the new trilogy. Practically 99.9% of the aliens are new, which should help address complaints of "all the ST designs are just OT retreds!", but we're left with a galaxy full of practically nothing but new aliens as a result.

Infinity War got its first trailer a month ago and it comes out a few weeks before Solo. If Solo doesn't have a trailer out by the end of the month (to get attached to Black Panther next month), it's probably getting pushed back.
