i only made it through one episode of "girls" it strongly resembled "seinfeld," in that all of the characters were loathsome human beings who needed a swift kick in the rear end unlike "seinfeld," it was played almost totally straight and the viewer was expected to sympathize with the terrible people, instead of laugh at their pratfalls. that was a bridge too far.
