God, I just got caught up reading the thread after stepping away from my computer a few hours before the awful block. The awful block portion was almost as good of a trip as catching it with the chat of a restream as it was live. Long journey. I remember trying to catch up during the Animorphs run and posting the gang tag in that stream's chat and it was amazing.

one time I tried to kill the shopkeep by shooting him with a shotgun the shot broke open a present between me and the shopkeep, which counted as stealing, making him angry, and then he shot me to death, all within the like three frames before my shot hit him. this is a typical spelunky run

god i love spelunky. put over 100 hours in the game. had a $1,000,000 score run loving great game can't wait for spelunky 2, hope spelunky 1 also sees a switch port

Every 4 levels there's a NPC called the Tunnel Man that will unlock shortcuts up to that point. You have to visit him 3 times for each shortcut and he requests different items for each visit. This run unlocks all the shortcuts and beats the game after. He kills himself after each delivery because you can only do one per run. Cyberventurer posted:Wait, what was the point of the key?
