A regular pill costs about €5 here, and usually has more than 200mg of mdma in it, which will last you well through the night. That's €5 to be off your face for the whole night if you spread it out nicely. Drinking the whole night costs much much more.

Difference between Democrats and Labour is that Labour was founded by trade unionists and has been fairly socialist to various degrees over the years, while the Democrats have never been better than FDR and the New Deal

the SNP postured to the left of labour circa 2015, but that's changed significantly since Corbyn got in and probably played a role in labour's small resurgance in their former heartlands in Scotland edit: historically the SNP have bounced about, being derisively considered "tartan tories" at various points but also having significnat trade unionist, socialist and communist members and a reasonably significant left tendency in the so-called '79 group, of which erstwhile leader Alex Salmond (notably considered left wing for stuff like opposing austerity policy and the iraq war, whatever his other faults) was a member. they seem mostly concerned with trying to eat labour's lunch by posturing left, while still being "sensible" enough to compete with the conservatives and capitalise on the unionist/nationalist divide that runs throguh the more socially conservative quarters of the scottish population TomViolence has issued a correction as of 21:22 on Jan 12, 2018 |

in addition to the SNP the lib dems as well as the northern ireland parties have parliamentary representation- they've both played kingmaker in recent memory to the tories. also the greens have a seat and i think there are some independents still maybe? so two party mostly with some weirdness.
