the shadow triad is a hilarious addition to bw2 because there's this weird fan-theory that they're secretly the 3 dipshit brothers with the elemental monkeys who were the first gym leaders of bw1 and i don't think there's any evidence to that theory beyond 'there's 3 of them'

I fell off from the anime back in Hoenn but SM is just so good to look at, and they finally changed the formula to be more of a wholesome slice of life deal in the world of Pokemon and it's just good fun.
