SO last night I was at a friends going away party since she's moving to Los Angeles. This was fun as there was alcohol and friends . There was also a person who brought $100 of Taco Bell. Taco bell and alcohol at age 29 lead to me being up at 5 AM EST and making trades. Anyways: Introducing your SL 24 MOSCOW GOLDEN TSARS Now with EVEN MORE concentrated evil science experiments. You want a murderbot? We got one of those. Ancient Ctuhlu monster things? yep, we got those too. Whatever weird winter soldier style russian science gave us a Red Willvengeance? duh! Negro Leaguers? Sure why not. Afraid of losing all your emails/photos/texts? Don't worry we already have copies for you, helpfully categorized on cloud servers with no password required. Worried MKS is gonna win? I would say that a four man rotation COULD work. However, the primary problem is an overuse of pitchers leading to a worse performance. Now, you COULD counteract that - add a guy in the pen, crank down your Pitch Through Trouble and High Pitch Counts sliders. Of course, Menthol has his High Pitch Counts slider at +5. These pitchers are going to DIE.

That is because I forgot to change it when switching from five men to four, I will fix that now. Also the bullpen was significantly worse than it is now when I originally set up the sliders.

NAME GAME: REGULAR SEASON One of the things I like about the Super League, and sports in general, is that the best team doesn't always win. We're not doing a Monte Carlo simulation of each season; we're just doing one season and sometimes guys have career years, great teams get hamstrung by mediocrity and injury, and so on. Since we're trying to address the question "what named team is best," Pander has run the savefile about a zillion times to reach a conclusion. But that's not what I did in this league. This is just "we run it once and go with it." In both leagues, the "best" team didn't win, though the "best" teams still did quite well and the teams that beat them weren't outrageous underdogs or anything. Without further ado: BILLY: 96-66, 6 GB Record notwithstanding, this was probably the best team in the tournament. The pythag had 'em at 103 wins; I'm gonna blame Billy Koch and his Morgellon's for the team underperforming. BOB: 96-66, 5 GB Just a solid team all the way around. I still think Tewksbury should get a look in the league. CHARLES: 64-96, 37 GB The pitching doomed this team. The hitting did too, but mostly the pitching. DAVE: 78-84, 23 GB Poor David Wright can't produce even in an exhibition. DISNEY NAMES: 95-67, 6 GB You made this team too good! ED, EDD, and EDDIE: 83-79, 18 GB I really thought this team was going to win the whole thing. By the way, you listed the same Eddie Murphy on your roster twice, you cheating bastard! FRANK: 101-61, won pennant A good team that seems to've goten a bit of luck. Great tablesetters at the top, and then a TON of power later in the lineup. Thomas2Thomas didn't work out as TMM might've hoped, but at least the Big Hurt was good. GEORGE: 95-67, 6 GB Something glitched with Sisler and I didn't bother to fix it. That might've made the difference as having his black hole bat in the lineup instead of someone competent probably is why Pander had team George winning in his own sims most of the time. HANK: 41-121, 60 GB Congrats to Hank Webb for his 89 innings with a 12.19 ERA. JACK: 79-83, 22 GB My brother once saw JT Snow in a restaurant and wanted to say something but look clever. I convinced him to go up to him and say, "Hey, you play for the Giants, right? Are you Barry Bonds?" JIM: 85-77, 17 GB JI JIM THOME did everything he could, but the rest of the lineup just didn't get on base nearly enough to compete. Pretty darn good pitching, though! JOE: 87-75, 14 GB Is Joey Votto startable? JOHN: 102-60, won pennant When the worst ERA on your team is 4.26, you're gonna win a ton of games. Especially when Olerud is having a monster season behind Johnny Mize. MATT: 62-100, 40 GB This team, man. First, davidma01 is MARK DAVIDSON, who was age 57. Second, you forgot to post a lineup. Third, well...there is no third. This team was very bad! MIKE: 85-77, 17 GB Giancarlo Stanton can't make contact at all. I do think Mike Sweeney's probably worth playing around with if ever anyone's fool enough to take a late 90s/early 00s Royals feeder. He came up as a catcher and maybe we could go all Jimmie Foxx with him... PETE: 75-87, 27 GB You had a 1B that didn't load. Don't remember why. Anyway, the Baby Bull played 1B for you instead. At least he hit some dingers? STEVE: 76-86, 26 GB The Yerkes store called: they're full-up on Steves. TED: 66-96, 36 GB Big Klu had a great season. But other than he and Teddy Ballgame, there was no offense, and the pitching sucked too. THE ARISTOCRATS: 80-82, 22 GB I miss Prince Fielder. Also King Lear did some great relief work. TOMMY: 74-88, 28 GB Had this team allowed Toms, it probably cracks .500. Alas. I'll post the World Series some other time. I'm not making any changes to Team John. Whoever owns Team Frank isn't allowed to make changes either.

Team Billy is definitely the best team around. Team George takes second. Team Hank...well...bless their hearts. And even with the Davidson debacle I'm amazed that Team Matt is this bad at baseball. Team George Caveat: Since George Sisler was bugged, I moved him to the minors and replaced him with George Burns/Grantham instead and moved George Foster to the bench. As a result, my results will be better for team George than Fairgame's would, on average. I don't think it's unfair though, since Sisler was the only noted bugged character like this, and I still only used players from the George roster without adjusting anything in the engine.
