thatcher + walter is cool (and they had an excellent match against tracey williams + dom whatever of catch point in evolve tonight) but i wish their shtick wasn't so fashy cuz it very much makes me want to treat em as the most despicable of heels even though i want to cheer walter's chops

Rey is pretty much the Liger of North America so even if he can't go that hard just seeing him live is still seeing a living legend

I saw Jake Roberts at an indy tonight and the feeling when he DDT'd Chase Owens and the crowd went nuts is something I can't really describe. So I agree re:legends, and Rey is most certainly capable of doing more than Jake at this time. Also, Owens' opponent, Roy "Flash" Gordon is really good and I think I could see him getting some indy hype very soon, their match was excellent. Same goes for Kevin Lee Davidson, a pretty mobile beefy fella who looked about 300 lbs but was doing leapfrogs and abise kicks (well, just one but it looked good). He's an Elgin student but I won't hold that against him.

Never seen Rey live before so I might go to this. Last year Night of the Superstars was headlined by Ryback after WWE didn't let the Hardys wrestle so this year is already better

I'm just going to put these in here because I don't know what else to do with them. They're from Belle Generico's Instagram story. I don't know her, I'm following her because she got RTed by NOVA Pro like a year or more ago. She's posted lately about getting out of wrestling fandom, which is why she has a more generic username instead of bellegenerico. Is there a news site I can send them to (not Dave) that could investigate this?

David Starr vs. Fred Yehi got over with the PWG crowd. Starr in particular has a personality that really clicks. He sold some shirts. The match itself was good. More of a classic style like watching a Gulak/Thatcher match. Very few high spots. Ask Meltzer what he thought.
