Pop Team Epic is good and fun but I hope they do more expansions on the original 4komas like the Australia gag and fewer ones where it's just the 4koma but moving like the birdseed one.

Second Half I am pretty sure was Ryusei Nakao as Popuko who did the voices of guys like Freeza, Caesar Clown and many other notable roles. While Popimi was Norio Wakamoto who was Cell, M Bison, (Good joke there) Nobunaga and many others.

I'm not a huge seiyuu fan or whatever but I could've sworn I recognized Wakamoto's voice in one of the "Poputepiku" intros and I remembered the M. Bison outfit from the first half. Mind-blowing setup for a meta joke. This is on a whole other level.

I'm glad we found out Popuko daisuki's mambo, I hope the best for their lesbian relationship edit: Meta jokes aside, easily my second favorite episode, this show hasn't really worn out its welcome with me at all, although I think episode 2 was the best one so far, especially with the live action gag portion. The VAs were great, but I felt like this episode had the weakest gags so far, and the delivery for some of the more iconic comics felt really lackluster to me... Not to mention, they're still not really making the most of the repeated segments.

The show would be perfect if they did more altered jokes in the second halves, but it's still pretty great. The French segment was actually much funnier without subtitles.

I like that they animate the French segments differently. I'm glad the smoking isn't censored because it confirms that Popuko is actually the timeless chaos-aligned gremlin that we ALL know she is and not a middle schooler.
