I think the Sorcerer is one of the new "Lords". The bosses you'll have to fight at the end of series' of missions, like the Warlord in Stromdorf.

Nah, he's an uncommon. When they showed a game play stream a month or so back, he showed up on the demo mission. He shot wave of blight that travel along the ground and then explode into lingering clouds. Also tried to teleport away and behind mooks when the PCs close in on him. I wonder if he may have other abilities?

I'm afraid so.
Sounds like there's a lot of new kinds of special enemies, what with every kind of special rat returning, new rats, and the football team has their own set of specials. I wonder if every level will have the potential for every kind of special enemy to appear in it at any time, or if a given mission will tell you you might encounter a specific set of specials to encourage you to bring appropriate counters.

Okay I think I figured out what's been bugging me about the promo material beyond the obligatory complaint that nobody playing in promos is as good at video james as me: My worry is that while the Skaven and their extreme gribbly-ness may be present to some degree, in refocusing on big beefy marauders they're gonna lose out on the overwhelming tide of, uh, vermin feeling but because the marauders are common enemies and not specials they're not gonna replace that swarming feeling with anything like Stormvermin behavior where you have to deal with swarms on autopilot while also reading the Stormvermin animation or else get severely punished. So what could've been a really entertaining new enemy class is just... rats, but bigger and damage-spongier and there's less of them, and they just moan and roar blandly instead of jeering in Skaven pidgin and crawling out of weird cracks to ambush you.

I'm kinda getting the impression that what they're trying to do is broaden the ability of the AI director to pace a level on a more granular gradient than lots of skavenslaves -> maybe some stormvermin or other specials -> ogre + swarm, and that's cool! I can definitely imagine a way it can work really well. But I haven't really seen it yet from the released videos so far, which mostly seems to be proofs of character concept rather than having the actual gameplay rhythms nailed down.

For what I remember, similar but not quite the same. The projectile is MUCH faster and seems to have some homing capacity, and the cloud if only about 25% the gas rat size. Seems like he is more focused on sniping out single targets as oppose to denying a large area.

They said there are 3x as many different specials as in the first. A large enough pool that you can go several missions without necessarily seeing a given type. Some areas may weighted to favor either skaven or chaos, but either can show up anywhere.

Once again, Chaos is the worst part of the End Times. Nagash unleashing the undead upon the world and Settra getting super pissed about it, the Skaven full scale assault and moon destruction and prank calling the 40K dimension, and the Greenskin rampage are all great parts of the End Times, but they all get hosed by the Chaos plot superseding them.

Yeah I'm 100% with you guys who are worried it's gonna lose its tide of vermin character with these tofu-block-lookin' marauder fuckers. It's diving into three dozen pink rats with Swift Slaying on a wide-sweep weapon that keeps me playing this game. I really don't want to have to put real work into anything appearing with a mook's frequency.

Anyway why is the Wizard in Rehab the one who loves tossing fireballs and the Wizard on a Bender the one with melee talent? I'd think the "cutting loose" one would be throwing AoE fire everywhere and the "restrained" one would settle for swords and judicious buffs. I even could have sworn there was something written in the WHFRP books about fire wizards wielding swords as a restraining and self-tempering technique, so they didn't magic everything and go off the deep end.

Normally you can only dodge a few times before there's a delay before you can dodge again. The run speed trinket removes that limit so you can chain dodges forever. You can try it out easily in the inn.
