Vfw annoys the poo poo out of me. I paid the whatever for life time forever ago but haven't bothered to go to one in 10 years. Now I'm at large and for some reason got handed off to some VFW in Idaho Falls that kept pestering me to show up. Problem with that is Idaho Falls is around an eight loving hour drive, like lol you gotta be tripping. I emailed the dude back because I figure he's probably some 70 year old dude and I'm like " thanks but no thanks 8 hrs blah blah dont email me again, thanks" He said ok and then like 2 weeks later started spamming me again. Sorry Robert you're flagged as spam now!!!

I have luckily avoided the emails since I dropped from the last regional area with a move. The magazine and fundraising though... If this is indicative of what the organization is like I am sorry I too got the lifetime membership once I got out.

The magazines are terrible, I looked through once and had a laugh at all the Fox News Buy Gold Now ads and it reminded me of why I hate veterans.

We got one dusting in like...November. It was supposed to drop about 6" over the course of a day two weeks ago, but the sun was out most of the day, and like 2 days later it was 70*.

We had a dusting today, after a dusting last night. It was clear and sunny at work, but everything west of I-25 above 8k-ish feet was getting light snow for a while. Just sat there on my breaks watching it. No real snow totals worth mentioning at all this winter. Gonna be a crazy fire season this year.

We're about to get a foot of snow here in northern IL, and I'm real annoyed. Everyone in the house has some kind of bug and even though we shoveled the drive today, we're going to have to tomorrow as well. Winter sucks.

I'm going to stay on the east side of I-25, lovely as it is. Closer to work, a few miles farther from the mountains.
