whenever there are huge selloffs like this, there are always speculative traders waiting to buy at the bottom. now, no one really knows when the bottom will be, but the point is you have a bunch of capital waiting for a sign that the bottom is in. that's why you get huge bounces like the one today and from a few days ago. the same thing happened today in the stock market--go look at the SPY chart at 3 pm EST

the crypto markets actually bounced about 10 minutes before SPY did
