I can only imagine she finished, paused, and then slowly went over those words twice with her finger while this terrified dude wriggled in her grip.

In the world where Wonder Woman rules, men do all the workplace jobs and women spend all their time playing bondage games.

Anyone have that set of panels with WW in Vietnam (or a nearby country) and she stands up to Supes being an All American boy?

Theyre newer comics, but with the silver age designs.

In that story, Superman spends all of the time that the other heroes are fighting the Big Bad crying about wanting to be with Lois while he's recovering from a wound in Atlantis.

My point being that it seems a little hypocritical for her to be calling him 'spaceman' when she doesn't have much of a claim to being human either :v: just conveniently human-shaped.

I think her point is that they're both already outsiders meddling in problems that aren't theirs, and drawing border distinctions is kinda pointless in that context.

Eh, Superman is as American as they come outside of the Silver Age and the Movies. He spent all his life in rural Kansas and not!New York so I would totally believe him to use an American viewpoint as his "Default".

And by 'a wound', you mean the alien entity villain blasting him full bore with a full power energy blast that's the equivalent of a few nukes going off in his face.

It's not like he felt pain for the first time and then sat the rest of the fight out ala Captain Hammer.
