Tatsuki has worked on meta anime before so I wouldn't be surprised. Also I think back at Winter Comiket he announced he was starting a new TV Anime project so I think people are just assuming this might be it.

I decided to watch this anime on youtube, but I think there's an episode missing. Episode 4 is in the desert, and then "episode 5" is the PPP show. But Bag-chan has already discovered that she's human, and someone named "The Professor" gave her a backstage pass.
