Everyone in the neighborhood just let their dogs run free and everyone knew everyone else's dogs by name. Many of times there would be one of the dogs in the backyard barking like crazy till we would let our dog out. They would go run off together to play and he would come back a couple hours later. Always fun getting the call from the grocery store down the street that our dog was in the meat section again and to come get him

When I was coming home for lunch a few weeks ago, my mom and I saw two pit bulls happily running down the sidewalk. They weren't chasing anything, just running together with those big goofy grins on their faces. We wondered exactly what their deal was, and later found out they had both escaped from their home and ran off to play in the neighborhood. They got caught and returned. Last week we saw a sign at the entrance to the neighborhood for two lost dogs, and we joked that it must have been the same ones. I just want to imagine two big, dorky pit bulls constantly breaking out of their house to have adventures around Central Florida.
