The grey/black bottom half is weird, and I thought shark fins were gone this year?

It's a strange decision by Williams to make the Halo white. They have this very hard black/white contrast going which makes the car look much less bulky than last year, and imo if they would have made the halo black, it would have disappeared more when shot against a not too bright background. Really strange thing indeed, plus it beeing so close to the eyes of the drivers, I can see them asking for making the halo black on the inside so it won't disturb them regarding reflections from the sun/floodlights.

Human immunodeficiency virus infection and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS) is a spectrum of conditions caused by infection with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).[9][10][11] Following initial infection, a person may not notice any symptoms or may experience a brief period of influenza-like illness.[5] Typically, this is followed by a prolonged period with no symptoms.[6] As the infection progresses, it interferes more with the immune system, increasing the risk of common infections like tuberculosis, as well as other opportunistic infections, and tumors that rarely affect people who have working immune systems.[5] These late symptoms of infection are referred to as acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).[6] This stage is often also associated with weight loss.[6] HIV is spread primarily by unprotected sex (including anal and oral sex), contaminated blood transfusions, hypodermic needles, and from mother to child during pregnancy, delivery, or breastfeeding.[12] Some bodily fluids, such as saliva and tears, do not transmit HIV.[13] Methods of prevention include safe sex, needle exchange programs, treating those who are infected, and male circumcision.[5] Disease in a baby can often be prevented by giving both the mother and child antiretroviral medication.[5] There is no cure or vaccine; however, antiretroviral treatment can slow the course of the disease and may lead to a near-normal life expectancy.[6][7] Treatment is recommended as soon as the diagnosis is made.[14] Without treatment, the average survival time after infection is 11 years.[15] In 2016 about 36.7 million people were living with HIV and it resulted in 1 million deaths.[16] There were 300,000 fewer new HIV cases in 2016 than in 2015.[17] Most of those infected live in sub-Saharan Africa.[5] Between its discovery and 2014 AIDS has caused an estimated 39 million deaths worldwide.[18] HIV/AIDS is considered a pandemic—a disease outbreak which is present over a large area and is actively spreading.[19] HIV is believed to have originated in west-central Africa during the late 19th or early 20th century.[20] AIDS was first recognized by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 1981 and its cause—HIV infection—was identified in the early part of the decade.[21] HIV/AIDS has had a great impact on society, both as an illness and as a source of discrimination.[22] The disease also has large economic impacts.[22] There are many misconceptions about HIV/AIDS such as the belief that it can be transmitted by casual non-sexual contact.[23] The disease has become subject to many controversies involving religion including the Catholic Church's position not to support condom use as prevention.[24] It has attracted international medical and political attention as well as large-scale funding since it was identified in the 1980s.[25] https://static2.fjcdn.com/comments/And+just+like+that+we+now+have+another+dragon+car+_6b8e63e46d1b6813c9d1f709acd9f1fb.jpg Holy poo poo that felt good. Feels Villeneuve posted:Hearing rumors out of maranello. Kimi has tested the car and was heard to say "this is epic for the win" Kimi is a washed up drunkard aging rockstar whose veins are so tried up from heroin abuse that he just gave up on it all after realizing his only injection site was into his dick. He needs to fully retire and I imagine he will if Leclerc excels as everyone expects him to at Alfa Romeo-Sauber. Raikkonen is garbage and it's amazing that Ferrari ever gave him a contract extension to begin with. They must have really had no other choice and would rather continue on with that old chunk of coal rather than bring in a stop-gap for a single year before making room for Charles Leclerc.

I just don't think there is anybody else they can hire with a comparable skill level. This, for example, is why Kevin Magnussen is still employed somehow.

Much like how Alonso is putting his transition place right now to smoothly change into sports car racing once his F1 career is over and neatly make room for Lando Norris to take over. As much as I love Alonso it's really, really pathetic how he's completely bent over and dominated McLaren to his every whim and wishes. It's really sad and usually a sign of smaller teams exhibiting the big fish in small pond syndrome. For Alonso to be a big fish at a once Top 2 team that was McLaren is really sad and a testament that Zak Brown's leadership of the team exhibits horrible tendencies to adhere to the wishes of a single driver however good he may be. Ron would never have allowed this to happen and successfully managed two extremely large fish that were Prost & Senna while maintaining McLaren's identity. Pathetic. Not even Michael Schumacher was bigger than Ferrari at the absolute peak of 2000-2004 domination.

K-Mag seems to have fallen into a convenient groove at Haas. He at least seems to be plying his trade nicely versus the obvious friction that was present when he was at Renault and to some extent at McLaren. I wouldn't write off Magnussen's F1 career completely. He's just meeting the small expectations in a rookie team so meh.
