The console and handheld are so entrenched there that PC gaming scene was only seen as lucrative for incredibly niche genres or porn. It took Steam to make the Japanese develop PC ports lol

And Infinite Climax is still really loving hard but at least they don't take your witch time away . I would just skip normal if you're finding it easy and beat it on Hard because that unlocks a bunch of poo poo

I didn't buy Bayo because I went to Tokyo and thought ya I'll just pick up the tag climax edition The guy at the Mandarake Akiba videogame section when I asked was like "Well tell me if you find it because I've been looking for it for weeks" and actually stores in Japan were importing the US boxed version because it came with a code for Bayo 1 (The japan Bayo 2 costs more than the US version and comes without Bayo 1)

Yeah I really want to play Tag Climax with non- randoms, it sucks getting matched with someone who has like no verses unlocked and constantly dies on 2-star difficulty

That part of the prologue is the most powerful grinding spot in the game if you do it right, because it's the only place enemies infinitely respawn on a timer instead of just a set amount of waves. I got 3 million halos from a single combo there lol
