No se apropien de mi lenguaje, muchas gracias. Mclaren is a MESS. In my estimations Mclaren will be the worst Renault team. RBR will be the worst Tag Heuer team. #forzaferrari edit: Williams is in bad shape DoctorGonzo fucked around with this message at 17:39 on Mar 6, 2018 |

McLaren are clearly sandbagging hard this season. They're even taking the piss... losing a wheel nut? "computer problems"? They're so confident of their superiority they're making dumb poo poo up to confuse the other teams. #mindgames

Getting some solid time on track testing, much like having a title sponsor is overrated and a thing of the past imo.

Pretty hosed up that the McLaren is so fast it's literally tearing itself apart, but I'm sure they'll just turn the wick down a bit and walk to the championship.

A very thoughtful and well-articulated take for you guys: American's are ruining F1. Exhibit A: Liberty ruining F1. Exhibit B: Zak Brown ruining McLaren. Exhibit C: Haas. The prosecution rests, your honor.

I've been looking more closely at the halo and it seems a bit of a missed opportunity for teams like McLaren especially. It looks to be forward of the centre of balance whereas, had it been fixed further back, it would have made an ideal, quick access, anchor point for craning stricken cars of the track more quickly and so safely. Is there any scope for the cars to run without the halos? Like physically, structurally? Would it just take a few little cover panels to mask the fixing points off and do they hold these in case? And is there that flexibility in the rules to allow for such at any given grand prix, like maybe they turn up to Spa and the halo's effects on visibility are deemed unsafe, can the teams agree and all just unbolt them and run anyway?

# ? Mar 6, 2018 20:29 |

I'm sure the Halos could be removed without too much trouble, but something extremely extraordinary would have to happen.

I would think they built them into the chassis' structure to save weight and if you removed them they would fail quite a few impact tests.
