Picked up Batman and Son, I didn't realise that it went right into Batman RIP, had I known I'd have probably picked those up together and chosen something else, but it's good. Quick question though, does it actually start super in media res? Or is it picking up from where the last guy left off? Also, The Clown at Midnight... it's... it's got some problems. I get what he was doing (story-wise, gently caress if I know about the art), but whoof. Oh, also picked up Cosmic Odyssey, and I liked it quite a bit, thanks to everyone who recommended I check it out when I asked. The Bug! trade comes out soon, right? I'm trying to go through and read my digital comics backlog and I've arrived at the old Grant Morrison JLA series. I appear to have purchased DC One Million #1-4, JLA Classified #1-3 and JLA Earth 2 in additional to the volumes in the main series. Am I fine to read these by publication date or is there some specific order I should try to read them in?

Find the original dates in comparison to JLA issues, since they take place during the series. Classified is after and sets up Seven Soldiers a bit.

I slot in Earth 2 after the first three issues of the main series. It's easy to get it in before the roster expands and characters start going through changes. There's a DC 1,000,000 million trade you can look at to see what issues are worth reading as part of the larger JLA story. Or be a crazy person like me and get the omnibus, and read every 1,000,000 issue.
