It's pretty telling that all the wrong options are so hosed up "tell the girl you kill cats for fun", "creep up from behind", "make a digusting joke" - like those couldn't be some other things, the guy definitely knows his audience. I'd play the game just to see Le Dick Ruin badly act those out in embarassing fmv scenes.

Those are the kind of options you should pick in bioware games, because they end up being either the funniest or the most hosed up, both of which is often more entertaining than whatever the story is.

who would even buy a game like that? it doesn’t look like it should be taken too seriously but doesn’t really look particularly entertaining either because the producer is such a weirdo. And not in the tragically funny sense — that Pickup Artist with the stupid hat and the reality tv show I remember about ten years ago was hilarious because he had zero self reflection skills but at least he thought he actually taught something of value to sad and lonely nerds

the last part is 'hey help some girls who like each other get together and maybe we'll feel better about ourselves' not 'hey make sure those girls gently caress and we'll ghost in and watch them do it.' there's sex in the game and im not denying that but its the kind of sex you could get away with in a pg-13 movie and 90% of it is like, three lines long. and the ghosts dont spy on it or anything. there is never, at any point, a moment where any characters push an unrelated couple to have sex with each other. the sex is a motivation for the ghosts (because the metaphor is that the ghosts represent the sexless japanese lesbian fiction of old where the characters are expected to 'grow out of it' and/or 'remain pure' and the living characters represent a more true to life thing where lesbians can just be dumb teenagers) but it's not their only motivation and it's far from the main motivation of the game. it's treated as something the ghosts are interested in because they love each other but literally didn't have the words or actions to express it due to cultural repression wrt female sexuality and homosexuality, not a wacky sexy romp or anything.
