Back to Frankenstein's Monster for a second. White Wolf released a rule book for these types of beings called Prometheus: The Created. No matter how smart or beloved or beautiful the created are, eventually the people around them go crazy and try to murder them. People can just tell that something is "off" as a game mechanic. It's a really neat system to be quite honest.
