I'm watching the S5 finale and Ru is interviewing Monica Beverly Hills. Ru asks, "Can a girl be a drag queen and a trans woman at the same time?" and Monica says "Yes. Drag is what I do, trans is what I am" and Ru is like "hell yeah the only thing we care about is if you wanna be America's Next Drag Superstar and if you have charisma uniqueness nerve and talent"

Whoever is translating DR Thailand gave an impressive number of fucks this week. Some of the non-performances for the maxi challenge were just perplexing, though. How did anybody think they could get away with just saying, "And the award goes to..."?! I guess it Didn't end up counting for anything other than Bioré products, but still.

I’ve never done a 180 on a queen so fast after thinking Aquaria is super hot out of drag, serves really great looks online, and then... then she spoke. Yikes. I can see why she is rumored to bring a ton of drama to this season.

I think Michelle Visage is all that keeps this show going anymore, and I say that as someone who fully used to hate her for how harsh she critiqued all my favorite weirdo queens.

YAY write-and-record another song. just when i thought i had gotten over Bebe's verse the whole 'queens are returning as a jury' thing is sort of hilarious, especially if it's totally consequence-free. as much as shangela likes banging on about strategy and allies and whatever else, this isn't god drat survivor.

I really like how DR Thailand separates the Maxi and Runway challenges. RPDR does sometimes seem fuzzy on how judging is weighted between the two, and sometimes the runway is an afterthought entirely. It also seems like the judges are either living or savage, which is hilarious and entertaining. You either get Pangina screaming and cackling or the Maid with a Mustache yelling that you just glued poo poo to your corset. I hope I get to scream "YOUR NIPPLES ARE SHOWING!!" someday in my life...

Why is Panpan so attractive. This episode was great. Natalia is a fantastic villain, she can brag all she wants about being rich and I'm still rooting for her. I want a Dearis Doll hat. Anee looked like Mae West in that leopard getup. Were those actual intestines she was eating as the pretty krasue? I love all of these queens tho. Petchra or Amadiva is probably the next to go unless someone really fucks up. The translator is absolutely crushing it. The joke about Jaja looking like a Thai zombie was great. I love drag race Thailand so much.

I am more eager for drag race Thailand episodes than I am for All Stars 3 right now, to be honest. It seems so much less going through the motions then the US version right now, if that makes sense. Dearis Doll for president.

Drag race is not on us Netflix and it got pulled from Amazon prime suddenly at the beginning of the year. AFAIK there is no legal way to watch old episodes at the moment. The way TV shows are licensed is a joke and will never be fixed without government intervention.

You can buy Drag Race off Amazon in the US afaik, but obvs not season one. Also seasons 4 and AS1 are missing for some reason?? My OutTV GO sub in Canada gives me every season (but 1) as well as new eps of the show and Untucked (it never left TV here) after they air. idk what's with the streaming rights in the US. Maybe Viacom has been gearing to put it on one of their services? Canada has also gotten the show in 16:9 and HD since season 2.

I remember in Karen From Finance's interview with Hey Qween she mentioned it was because of her negotiation that Stan got on board, so I guess she's basically a certified national treasure at this point

AS2 had no Untucked, either, but at least we got a reunion. I hope they're not skimping out on us and we get something, at least. I'd rather wait another week for Season 10 than not have a reunion!!
