Yeah GH3's hopo engine is amusing. You can do large parts of Cult of Personality by just kind of mashing on the buttons. Which is one of the two things I do whenever I come across GH arcade. The other is play Cliffs of Dover.

finally got to play again after ~3 weeks of being drumless due to my kick pedal chain breaking and me being lazy ordered a real double bass pedal and a wider kick drum pad and drat, what a difference between this and trying to fake it with the hi-hat pedal. definitely worth it for those of you that play a bunch of metal and are using the hi-hat pedal with the nitro

Has anyone else noticed that if you start an online session and flag it "wants to play Challenge songs", you lose the ability to filter for Challenge songs, and the song list doesn't show the R icons? Argh. I'm sure everyone is like "why the hell did they pick that?" We're really enjoying singing online, but the general vocals bugginess is a drag. During Black Hole Sun last night, the game stole two overdrives, granted me overdrive but broke my combo, and on the next overdrive phase, granted the OD and then took some away -- and then it took four clicks of the touchpad to actually trigger. Yeesh!

Huh. I didn't have much hope for the drums on Is She (and the verses are pretty light), but there are some fun fills and good variation. Cumbersome is actually the more chill drum chart.
