Unfortunately: Trump has been poaching McCabe for ages, so he has a good case against Trump, and if the report from McCabe's lawyer is accurate, he was railroaded by the FBI hearing without any attempt to allow him to defend himself.

Just a reminder that Trump asked him who he voted for in 2016 during an oval office meeting right after Comey was fired and then complained to him that McCabe's wife received thousands of dollars in donations from Hillary supporters and how unfair that was.

The funny thing about this is that the pension (which McCabe has a good chance of keeping anyway) is going to be worth so much less than the book deal and exclusive interviews he's going to get for this, that Trump essentially went through a hell of a lot of hassle and effort to do him a tremendous favor enriching him. But Trump will get nothing but hate and grief for this because his motives (as incredibly stupid and self-destructive as they are) are so obviously nasty and vile. He's actually trying to hurt McCabe as much as possible and doing literally the opposite.

You don't go from fully vested to zero for getting fired for cause 2 days before retirement. If his firing is upheld as not retaliatory and fully justified, then he stands to lose a significant portion of it, but I havent seen anyone define what "significant portion" means yet because I assume the math and the rules are complicated.

John Penley - an old-school activist I have great respect for - has reserved space at Franklin Square (across from the WaPo building, where the limo burned) and McPhereson Square. He ran the stage at Franklin Square during the Inauguration, and he ran a stage in Cleveland just before the RNC where I got to see Prophets of Rage perform (I have pictures of all of this). I intend to #Occupy. Hoping for something like the Bonus Army, but without the cracked skulls.
