So what do we think this is? It sounds like another sponsored episode, but probably some kind of video version since they had to travel for it. I hope it's something like that; the Totinos episode and the Casper Mattress ASMR Hour or whatever were really good episodes.
The McElroys were spotted making a recording in a promotional video for Escape to Margaritaville: The Musical (around 40 seconds in).

Good episode! I'm enjoying the investigation, they've been making good progress and it's definitely involved plenty of deduction and decision-making from the players, which is nice.

Also while listening to an old episode of MBMBaM I heard Travis pronounce gif as "jiff" and I think that was the missing piece to understanding him.

So this is only tangentially related to the McElroys, but after the headstone chat in the latest MBMBaM I decided to look up the wackiest ones and soon came to realize that most probably was photoshopped. Then I stumbled upon this:

The late great actor making a fart joke at his grave. And not a photoshop. Nice.

That sent me down another path of sweet Nielsen nostalgia and that's when I learned that he had a farting machine which he apparently loved dearly. I also learned that he often had it on him during interviews to mess with whoever sat down with him.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGuHDdSImFQ

So thank you, MBMBaM, to make me laugh at fart jokes from a dead man I guess?

It really was. And it was a segment where all of the guys chimed in to participate. It’s almost like there’s a foolproof formula to this show that’s just under our noses...

I really enjoy the MBMBaM highlights page on YouTube, because it keeps reminding me of long-forgotten favorite bits. "A closed fist holds no jelly" is probably the most inspirational thing I've ever heard these boys say.

Also, this week's TAZ was great again, and I'm still really enjoying Travis as GM, even though I thought I wasn't going to.

Justin's "Put some jelly on it" phase lasted the perfect amount of time. I don't know how he made a joke and kept referencing it until the exact moment it would have turned dull, and stopped 2 jokes before that point.

Not an emptyquote. I've seen enough webcomics to know it's going to deal hamfistedly with a death and some love story, and then complely forget it all the next month for another after-school special story.
