I'd be surprised if any of the engine suppliers actually gave a gently caress about the three engine limit. Imo, they'd (and the teams) rather take a ten or whatever place penalty once in a while rather than running a downtuned engine for six or seven races and risking a DNF.

New logo: 2/10. Stolen from a sock company or something, hard to read, doesn't scale, unrecognizable to non-fans. New theme: 5/10. It's OK I guess, but I can't NOT picture Sam and Frodo chasing Gandalf up a mountain ridge. New owners: 4/10*. I can't really think of anything Liberty has done to improve the sport yet. Lots of great ideas on how to gently caress it up, though. F1 2018: Grade it on a bell curve, please! *Provisional, in case someone can remind me of a good Liberty thing.

Logos and themes are for people who give a poo poo about pre- and post-race. And while F1 is on sky noone should care about either of those things. Tune in for the warmup lap and turn the race off at the chequered flag. "Oh but you might miss Nelson Piquet or someone equally tedious on the podium throwing softball questions!" I'll probably live.

The logo hatred is no longer in our hands. It's now in 3M's hands since it completely ripped off their Futuro brand logo.  It's trademarked and 3M lawyers are going hog wild although most likely just an out-of-court settlement will be reached. Still, sums up how short sighted and incompetent Liberty is. Waiting for the first race where they finally get the balls to actually pipe in music during a live race like they've constantly said they are planning on doing so.
