Something about the thrill of finding additional JFK footage is fun, even when it turns out to be another blurry Christmas. Being a little long-in-the-tooth I've made my own 8mm films, only to have a projector eventually chew them up. Years later I made digitizing movie film safely, cheaply, and with pro-tier quality(?) an ongoing project. The current setup is working well so far; glitches are less than self-driving car fatalities! I'd like to take it to an inventors' convention at some point; hire some shiny twink to man the booth.
