ALRIGHT! I just woke up, Im tired and annoyed as hell, and I love the smell of trash fire in the morning so lets do this. Im making this post because not everyone is in a 101 group BUT it seems just about everyone needs 101 educating on this. This unfortunately isnt a topic that gets a lot of attention or that gets taken seriously enough in leftist spaces. And it definitely needs more advocates in these spaces. We're gonna be talking about fatphobia today and its gonna be a long one so loving strap in! This is a Fat Activism post and here we center fat acceptance and fat voices with a priority to larger, more visibly fat folks' voices so keep that in mind. If they have to spoons and would like to, I also invite other fat activists to help educate on this post. EVERYONE ELSE: I expect yall to learn here or at least try to. HOWEVER, keep in mind that larger folks have NO obligation to be kind or coddle feelings when talking about our oppression and likely wont (we're tired.) Alright, leggo! . . . . . . . . . For those who don't know let me preface by saying, fatphobia is a form of OPPRRESSION that fat people face. "Skinny shaming" isnt actually a thing (its just recycled ablism and misogyny) and that fatphobia actually gets people killed in various ways including denial of care and ignoring of pain in lieu of blaming all woes on weight. Yes, including those that couldn't and wouldn't have anything to do with weight and issues that thin people have all get blamed on weight when a fat person expresses concern about them. There's no correlation between weight and health, weight and athleticism, or weight and worth. Maybe its just the way my brain works cause I see everything in relation to and other forms of oppression parallell to my blackness but the way I see fat oppression is similar to how I see colorism. We are all oppressed but not in the same ways or in the same degrees. This is where the categorizations come in (ie: smallfat, midfat, largefat, and superfat.) These are distinctions set upon us by the oppressive society we live in and the purpose of using them in fat activism is to acknowledge the difference in privilege between smallfat and largefat people. Sure all fat people face oppression, and we should support everyone with their battle against fatphobia. But we also need to listen to largefat people who face things smaller people will never face. When Larger fat people hyperbolize about smaller fat folks I hear similar things to when darker folks complain about light skin folk. Are darker folk wrong for being exasperated at lighter folk for how they perpetuate colorism? No. Is pointing out that being lighter gives you more leeway invalidating blackness? No. I see fat discourse the same way. Larger (fat discourse is moving more to visibility and using more visibly fat. Which I think is a good way to talk about look-isms) people always get the shorter end of the stick when it comes to fat-phobia. Smaller, less visibly fat folks can sometimes make themselves look like a thin person and blend in and essentially escape from the fat-phobia for a while while more visibly fat folks literally cannot even hope to do so. That doesn't invalidate smaller peoples fatness but we need to acknowledge that larger people experience things to a degree we don't and that in convos about fatness and fat-phobia we need to center them. But because fat-phobia is a form of oppression, fat activism does need to be gatekeepery in some regard. We have to be able to have convorsations about and amongst ourselves and educate others without those who have no idea what we face feeling entitled to chime in. Should it depend on exact sizing? hell no. Sizes do not necessarily describe how you are oppressed. Its actually pretty harmful and counter to the cause for a variety of other reasons. Also, in convorsations about fatphobia and fat acceptance it is NOT appropriate to being up your ED or ND in an effort to speak over us and center yourself. Beleive it or not, a lot of us have EDs and NDs as well and yet we STILL spend our time trying to educate you on our oppression. But because we are fat, when we have EDs, we will rarely ever get treatment. Even and especially for REDs (which fat folks suffer in alrarming rates.) But, you know how fat you are based on how and how much fat-phobia effects you; Someone who can’t shop at most plus size stores because the clothes are still too small, can’t fit in booths or other types of seating, uses seatbelt extenders, etc would generally be largefat/superfat, if you’re not struggling with ANY of the issues above or even close to it, then smallfat. If you’re bordering on those things but aren’t quite there, midfat. It sucks that it has to be this way but society treats us differently depending on how fat we are and its important to be mindful of and acknowledge that. If you don't face the ugly vehemently hateful of you side of fat-phobia, you cant really speak about it right? This is why larger again more visibly fat folks have to be centered and have to take priority, much the way black folks should be in discussions of racism and colorism. Us smaller folks have to sit down and stop centering ourselves and our feelings. We have to center the voices of those effected by it the most. We need to LISTEN.

But not everyone had those free things? It was only a select group of people who weren't white. Unless they're advocating slavery for all? I can see it now. Walmart having dormitories in each store so their slaves can get off the 20 hour shift to get their 4 hours of sleep, fed only by gruel from the cafeteria with a doctor on site who decides whether it's worth giving medicine or taking them out back old yeller style.

There was a time in the US when some people had millions of dollars and could have or get whatever they want. But then unions had to ruin everything, and we ended CEOs taking all the money in the world. But seriously, his poo poo take is that "Slavery was good for the slave cause you got everything you wanted for free!"

That was Luzarius, another weirdo who got mocked on SA and then fled to a long-dead subreddit and posted a huge effort post about how "not mad" he was. He refused to play Dragon Age: Inquisition because the way one of the companions looked was different, and he, quote, wasn't "going to be motivated to beat the game iron man if Cassandra's face is mannish." His whole shtick appears to be playing single-player RPGs, never dying, and complaining if literally not every woman in the game is a sex object. He posted on the Witcher 3 official forums requesting a patch or mod that allowed him to give every female character model in the game gigantic tits. He's almost a parody.

"Who is messaging the farm in the middle of the night...oh" Using real living animals as photography props for rich white children was better than anything my mind was jumping to at least. From there it follows that one should only access social media via a telegraph station. I can't reproduce the intermediary steps, but I assume there's some advanced IoSM moon logic at play. Live animals are not props, it is actually illegal to use many types of animals as props without inspection and licensing by the USDA. Photographers are not farmers and have no experience in keeping livestock (which are constantly trying to die) alive. Baby animals need to stay with their moms. If she had asked to come to my farm and photograph kids with the babies that would be ok but you can't just rent a real living thing to pose nicely for 2 days. Edit: here's what can go wrong
