Here's our old persian from back in the day. His fur got so bad it had to be trimmed; he looked real goofy with his lion-mane and a bald body, and got cold easily so we got him this. He didn't approve.

I took mine to get shaved every 3 months since she hated being brushed. Lion cuts are the best.

I think babies often run up against a sort of hidden-valley effect where a lot of people's standard for human is an adult, and babies seem a little alien an unrelatable. Then you spend time around one and see the person in them and suddenly you're noticing cute babies everywhere.
