I got to pet a samoyed puppy in the park once. He bit me...ever so gently on the hand and guided me to his drat fat puppy belly. I nearly stole a puppy that day. Went back home with my favorite idiot instead.  Ana Banana. I adopted her exactly 7 years ago today! She's better than any samoyed puppy to me

I've been traveling in South America for a while now, I got into the city of Cajamarca, Peru very, very early this morning. Too early to check into a hotel or hostel so I took a seat in the main plaza and waited for an hour or two for the sun to come up. Almost as soon as I sat down, this guy came over to say hello.   He was super friendly, sat with me the whole time, even guarded me when a couple of other street dogs got too close. I wish I was closer to home so I could take him with me.

Mina went to the vet for the first time today (she's been vaccinated at home but I wanted the vet to do her rabies vax) and everyone loved her She just plopped herself in the middle of the lobby, completely unconcerned, and wagged at anyone who looked at her. She was a filthy mud child and I was a bit embarrassed though. She's 60 lbs and 5 months old now. She's almost as tall as Isadore here, who is very patient with puppy antics.  At some point it will stop raining in OH and I will be able to take decent pictures again.
