still using one at times, because the design remains eternally fresh

its almost like the good things of a software empire monolith were accidental releases that failed to conform to the corporate doctrine of the decade but snuck past the C-level guards

also my piece of poo poo still has phantom usb device removal, and the wifi connectivity can occasionally die when connecting to a 5 ghz network. it then either restarts with connection active or restarts with said network undetectable until the computer is rebooted

im not buying a single dell more for this office. thankfully, now i have a budget per seat so i can’t even afford them for normal onbarding.

going to get every new coworker a thinkpad x1c and a single 21:9 monitor

this also means though that im in the person who is developing and implementing an on demand computing cluster in this trash fire as we cannot any big butt providers in many of our markets

at some point my desktop decided that sometimes on waking, the nic should be unusable and mysteriously flagged as such. uninstalling and redetecting it magically fixes the issue and it handles gigs of information fine

i cant wait to see if it magically resolves with the spring update since it was the fall update that introduced it in the first place

they've consolidated some, like the individual sound settings you could get to from the taskbar tray.

im not sure if it's new or not but storage senses has all the old disk cleanup options you would get when you right clicked a drive in my computer
