The super bowl I'm sure you can air whenever but it's the highest rated thing on tv by like a billion percent every year anyway so I think they're doing okay? The NCAA title game would do way worse on a Saturday than it does on Monday it's not even close to the same level of event

The thing that shits me is next season will start with 6 weeks of bad games because the people picking games are incompetent until its clear Redskins/Cowboys is not a marquee match up. Or, the sad truth is people are more likely to watch Giants/Redskins game even if both teams are terrible instead of a Rams/Chiefs game (I struggled to think of a good but not popular team best I could do wa the chiefs.)

I remember one year, the Redskins and Cowboys were both absolutely dreadful squads and they aired a segment ahead of time where Richard Simmons was encouraging them both to play better. I think the game ended up something like 15-12, no TD's whatsoever. It was a MNF game, I believe.
