i legally changed my name to one commonly used by women because i didn't like my name and was already using that one online, went through the hassle of explaining it to everyone at work with a bogus story, and two years later i realized i was trans b/c my dysphoria regarding facial hair and the general experience of being a guy randomly spiraled out of control, enough to make it noticeable and articulable
